Probably the best place in London and the home counties to go fishing if you are a beginner. This well stocked fishery is the main venue of the Learn to Fish sessions and sits just a 5 minute cab ride from Upminster Tube station.


2. Harwood Hall, Upminster, RM14


This Havering park lake, is a good and cheap option with day tickets from just £5, this venue is just a 10 minute walk from Upminster Tube station.


3. The Chase, Dagenham Road, Rush Green, RM7

A venue for the more experienced angler, The Chase is stocked with specimen carp to over 30lbs. The Chase is situated close to Dagenham East Underground station


4. Puddledock Farm Fishery, St Mary’s Lane, Upminster, Essex, RM14 3NX

Puddledock Farm boasts the best facilities in the area with a tackleshop, toilet block and cafe on site, This venue can get very busy with competitons on a weekend so its best to arrive early.
